Stonebwoy's Foundation, dedicated to addressing social responsibilities under the guidance of the acclaimed musician, is poised to embark on another impactful endeavor.
The foundation is preparing to unveil and dedicate four boreholes that have been constructed for communities in Borkor Awuku Kope, located in the Shama District of Ghana's Western Region.
Videos circulating on social media showcase the esteemed musician and all key members of the foundation, including his wife, Dr. Louisa, actively participating in the commissioning of the boreholes alongside community chiefs and residents.
The commissioning of these boreholes is of utmost importance as the affected communities heavily rely on the River Pra as their sole source of potable water. However, due to detrimental human activities, particularly illegal mining (known as galamsey) conducted by foreign nationals, including individuals from China, access to clean water has been severely compromised, resulting in significant health concerns.
This initiative adds to the ever-growing list of remarkable achievements by the foundation since its establishment.
In September 2022, the Livingstone Foundation, overseen by Stonebwoy's dedicated wife, Dr. Louisa, in collaboration with the Duffuor Foundation, successfully renovated Trekume Basic School. Situated near Stonebwoy's hometown in Anloga, this project aimed to enhance the learning environment for the local students.
Moreover, the foundation has generously covered medical expenses for numerous mothers and children who found themselves stranded in hospitals due to their inability to settle bills after receiving treatment.
