"Chocolate City and M.I Abaga Sue Nas for Failure to Deliver Paid-for Verse"

​In 2017, M.I Abaga and his record label, Chocolate City, filed a lawsuit against Nas, the Queenbridge rap legend, for allegedly failing to deliver the desired verse they paid $50,000 (over ₦37million naira) for.

The lawsuit was filed in the New York State Supreme Court and accused Nas and Ronnie Goodman of Mass Appeal Records of deceiving M.I Abaga's record label. This news was reported by Music Heads Africa on their social media.
