Nathino the Guest Star: Mapping His Feature Verses From ‘God Is Cooking’ to ‘Odyssey’

Every Ghanaian knows that one guest who is not even the celebrant, but somehow the party only starts when he enters. Funeral, wedding, outdooring, naming ceremony, the man is there, chair in hand, ready to help. In Ghana’s urban-gospel corner, Nathino is that guest. Yes, his own catalog has been quiet since the Bless Me EP in November 2023. But check the credits on other people’s songs and you will see the Rap For God Music man has been busy pressing visa stamps into his passport. So today we leave his home games alone and follow him to the away matches: the songs where somebody else’s name is on the cover and Nathino walks in through the “feat.” door.

🗺️ The Map at a Glance

Count the guest credits listed under his name on Apple Music and you get 14 songs across five lead artists between 2021 and 2025: five for BlackMajesty BME, four for ABDUL RASHEED, two each for Hakpala and Khadedzi, and one for Yaw Blac. Four landed in 2021, three in 2022, three in 2024 and four in 2025. The only gap is 2023, and that one has a good excuse: that was the year he was busy on his own shop with Love Me Now, the Aseda single, Helping Hand, Dear Motherland and the Bless Me EP. A man cannot attend every party when he is hosting one himself.

👑 Stop 1: The BlackMajesty BME Household

If Nathino has a second home, it is the BlackMajesty BME catalog. The relationship is two-way. On his side, the Black Majesty Entertainment YouTube upload of “Fadi Banku” bills it as Nathino featuring Kwadwo Sheldon and Black Majesty and credits the beat to Nathino. On their side, the invitations keep coming:

  • “God Is Cooking” (feat. Nathino, Abdul Rasheed & Wuddah), dated February 2021 — four men in one kitchen, and the title alone makes you want to bring a bowl. Listen
  • “I Am Not Alone” (feat. Nathino, Abdul Rasheed & Wuddah), dated March 2021 — the same squad, back for seconds. Listen
  • “My Head My Shoulders” (feat. Nathino & Wuddah), dated April 2021 — a rap record, despite sounding like a nursery rhyme your Sunday school teacher made you dance to. Listen
  • “Blessing” (feat. Nathino), June 2024 — his seat at the table on the seven-track project Songs of Majesty (II). Listen
  • “Live My Life” (feat. Nathino), September 2025 — the latest chapter of a theme he started on his own “My Life” back in 2021. Listen

Five songs over five years. That is not a feature, that is a lease agreement.

🧭 Stop 2: ABDUL RASHEED and the Convert Album

Abdul Rasheed first shows up next to Nathino on those 2021 BlackMajesty posse cuts. By 2024 he was calling Nathino onto his own records. “Wavy” (feat. Nathino) arrived in May 2024 (Listen), followed in September by “Sometimes” (feat. Nathino & Dwight Sammy), a hip-hop three-hander (Listen).

Then in November 2025 came the big one: Abdul Rasheed’s 13-track album The Convert Who Never Stopped Growing, with Nathino on two songs. “Got It” brings the old crew together with Wuddah and BlackMajesty BME (Listen), and “Odyssey” pairs him with BlackMajesty BME again (Listen). Wuddah, by the way, is the same voice from Nathino’s own “No Pressure”. In this circle, nobody throws a party without sending the others a WhatsApp invite.

💸 Stop 3: Hakpala and the Money Talk

Hakpala and Nathino go back to the early RFGM days, when Hakpala featured on Nathino’s “No Evil”, a song our Who Is Nathino? profile counts among his early camp records. Hakpala returned the favour twice. First came “Anyhow Money” (feat. Nathino) in August 2021, an Afro-pop single with a title every Ghanaian wallet understands (Listen). Then, in April 2022, “Sika Nhyira” (feat. Nathino) on Hakpala’s five-track EP Green (Gbemu) (Listen). “Sika” is money, “nhyira” is blessing. So from “anyhow money” to blessed money in eight months. Somebody’s prayer life is working.

🎉 Stop 4: Khadedzi’s Back-to-Back Invitations

Khadedzi called Nathino in twice in six weeks at the end of 2022. “Leave Me Alone” (feat. Nathino) landed in November as a hip-hop single (Listen), funny company for a man who once released a solo song simply titled “Alone”. Then on 28 December came “Party Get Friends” (feat. Nathino), an Afrobeats record dropped right in the middle of Christmas and New Year chop-life season (Listen). Leave me alone in November, party get friends in December. That is the most Ghanaian mood swing ever recorded.

🙏 Stop 5: Yaw Blac’s “Thank God”

The newest stamp from a fresh name is “Thank God” (feat. Nathino) by Yaw Blac, released in August 2025 (Listen). If you know Nathino’s catalog, you know this invitation was not random. This is the man behind the GRATITUDE EP, the 71-second “Thank You” and “Aseda”, which literally means thanks. When you need a thanksgiving verse in Ghana, you call the specialist.

🎥 Watch: “Sing Praise” (KiDi “Say Cheese” Cover)

Guest work also goes the other way: sometimes Nathino visits another artist’s song without an invitation, and turns it into praise. In May 2020 his channel posted this cover of “Say Cheese” by the award-winning KiDi. The description calls it a Rap For God Team cover renamed “Sing Praise”, with production credit to Nathino.

📌 What the Map Tells Us

First, loyalty. The same names come back again and again: BlackMajesty BME, Abdul Rasheed, Wuddah, Hakpala. This is not a rapper collecting big-name features for clout. It is a crew of Ghanaian gospel and Afro artists passing the mic around the same table, year after year. Second, range. On his guest list you find Christian rap posse cuts, Afro-pop money talk, Afrobeats party records and hip-hop. He fits in all of them without changing his message.

Third, and most important for fans waiting for new Nathino music: the voice never went on holiday. Since the Bless Me EP, he has appeared on seven guest records, from “Wavy” in 2024 to “Odyssey” in late 2025. So if you thought he disappeared, you were simply looking at the wrong cover art.

His own records have their guest list too: TomTom Againn on “Elevate”, Wuddah on “No Pressure”, Majesty and Kwadwo Sheldon on “Fadi Banku”, Kojo Spy6 and Ken Oshew on the GRATITUDE EP.
