Some rappers announce a new single like they are launching a satellite: three weeks of countdowns, cryptic teasers, a cover reveal, a snippet, a snippet of the snippet. TeePhlow is not doing any of that this season. When a fan asked him on X what he had for the rest of the year, the Cape Coast bar-merchant replied: “No countdowns!! No shenanigans. Just joint after joint after joint!! Up next #TomFord.” Charley, the man said it with his chest, and he backed it up the same day.

His new single “Tom Ford” landed on Audiomack on Thursday, 22 October 2026, produced by his longtime studio partner Ssnowbeatz. The title is a name every Accra fashion guy pronounces with respect, the kind of label your uncle claims is on his perfume even though we all saw him buy it at Kantamanto. TeePhlow is not borrowing the brand for decoration. He is using it as a mood: premium, polished and expensive-looking without shouting.

⚡ The Drop in 30 Seconds

“Tom Ford” is a brand-new 3:09 single from TeePhlow, released on 22 October 2026 and produced by Ssnowbeatz, the same beatmaker behind the 2017 song “Phlowducation” that helped introduce TeePhlow to a much bigger audience. Audiomack has it first, tagged as Afrobeats, with the other streaming platforms lined up to follow. It is TeePhlow’s first solo release since “Nagode” in August, and it comes barely seven weeks after he traded bars with Sarkodie on Hammer of The Last Two’s “Sika”. Old partner on the beat, luxury name on the cover, no countdown. That is the whole brief.

🎧 Listen: “Tom Ford”

The Vibe: Designer Bars, No Countdown

In Ghana rap, a designer name in a song title is never just about clothes. It is about arrival. “Tom Ford” sits in the same tradition as every rapper who ever used a luxury brand as a scoreboard, and TeePhlow understands the assignment. This is the man whose biggest record is literally called “State of the Art”, so taste has always been part of the package. The new title simply puts a price tag on it.

The production credit is the real story for long-time fans. Ssnowbeatz and TeePhlow go back to the Phlowducation era, when the producer laced the title track and “Enter” with Edem. They linked up again on “Afia Schwarzenegger” in 2022. When two people have that kind of history, the studio sessions stop being meetings and start being conversations. Ssnowbeatz knows exactly where TeePhlow’s pocket sits, and TeePhlow knows exactly how much space to leave for the beat to breathe. At just over three minutes, “Tom Ford” is built like a tailored suit: no extra fabric, everything fitted. It is a record for the drive home on a Friday, windows down, sunglasses on even when the sun has already gone to sleep.

The Cover: Lambo, Sunset and a Red Cup

If the title whispers luxury, the artwork shouts it from a rooftop. A bearded man in a black cap, dark sunglasses and an all-black outfit sits on the bonnet of a glossy black Lamborghini, a silver chain on his neck, a watch on his wrist and a red party cup in his hand. Around him, a beach party is in full swing: palm trees, two women in black swimwear posing on either side of the car, guests with drinks, a city skyline, a yacht on the water and a helicopter cutting across a golden sunset. Champagne bottles crowd the foreground. Above it all, “TOM FORD” is painted in brushed gold letters under the crowned TeePhlow logo, with “Prod by Ssnowbeatz” tucked underneath. It is less an album cover and more a vision board. Somebody in that picture has definitely never asked for the bill.

Who Is TeePhlow?

TeePhlow, born Lukeman Ekow Baidoo on 20 June 1991, is from Kotokuraba in Cape Coast, the Central Region capital, and the last of six children. He attended Ekumfi T.I. Ahmadiyya Senior High School and went on to earn a BSc in Quantity Surveying and Construction Economics at KNUST, which might explain why his verses are always measured to the last brick. He built his first fan base rapping on campus in Kumasi, then broke through nationally as first runner-up on the maiden edition of the “Next Big Thing in GH Hip Hop” talent hunt in 2012.

That run caught the ear of Hammer of The Last Two, who signed him and released his debut single “The Warning” featuring Sarkodie in 2014. In 2017 came The Phlowducation EP, with production from Ssnowbeatz, Possigee and others plus guest spots from Reggie Rockstone, Edem, Worlasi and more. Its eighth track, “State of the Art”, won Record of the Year at the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, and TeePhlow was nominated for Best Rapper the same night. Since then he has run his own lane through his TeePhlow Music camp, with the Phlowducation 2 era bringing in names like Strongman, Kofi Mole, Efya, Kelvyn Boy, Kwesi Arthur and Samini. In 2026 alone he has already dropped “Show Me” with Loyce, “Samurai Flow” and “Nagode”. The man is not slowing down.

Why “Tom Ford” Matters Now

A few weeks ago we were celebrating “Sika”, the Hammer of The Last Two link-up that put TeePhlow and Sarkodie back on the same record, more than a decade after “The Warning”. That session reminded a whole new generation that TeePhlow can hold his own next to the biggest pen in the country. Sarkodie himself has been busy too, most recently pairing up with KiDi on “Deja Vu”, so the rap conversation in Ghana is loud right now. “Tom Ford” is TeePhlow making sure his own name stays in that conversation instead of only appearing as a guest.

The timing is also sharp. Ghana rap is having a busy October, with veterans like Strongman on “Everlasting” proving that the class of the 2010s still has plenty of fuel. TeePhlow’s strategy is simple: steady releases, no drama, and a promise of “joint after joint” to close the year. With December around the corner and every DJ hunting for fresh, confident records, a song named after a luxury label fits the season like a well-cut blazer. Cape Coast, Kumasi, Accra: iron your best shirt, because TeePhlow is dressing for the occasion.
